Calling all cyclists (and your friends)!
Lou Fusz Automotive Network has formed a 2011 Bike MS team benefiting the National MS Society. Greg Stone is the team captain and along with Dan Fusz we would like to encourage you to join the team and ride for a great cause.
We'd like to have at least 10 cyclists and raise at least $2500
as a team. Bike MS will take place September 10-11 at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Columbia, MO. It's fully supported ride with Support & Gear vehicles and motorcycle crews on route and rest stops are available every 8-12 miles. Not to mention meals are provided beginning at Saturday's breakfast through Sunday's dinner. You can choose whether you'd like to ride the 40, 75, or 100-mile route each day (no need to specify when registering). You can also ride just for a day or be a virtual cyclist if you have any schedule conflicts.
Each cyclist (including virtual) is required to raise at least $250 Prizes are available beginning at $500. You can now register for only $20 with the special registration code "twenty" (all lower case, no quotation marks). Be sure to write down your username & password when you register because you'll need that information to log into the fundraising tools.
Anyone who wants to order a team jersey must register by next
Thursday (July 21) but you can still join the team and ride after that date but you wont be able to order a team jersey. I will have the cost on the jerseys in the next day or two. You will also need to make arrangements for your own lodging. You can either reserve a hotel room or if you'd like you can stay and camp at the fairgrounds.
